All of the paintings you will see on this site are a reflection of a lifetime spent studying nature, appreciating the limitless
beauty  of wild places and trying to define man's relationship to the order of nature. These paintings were derived from
field sketches obtained during countless days of hiking, backpacking, canoeing and kayaking, This site includes original
art, canvas reproductions, and limited edition prints.

Originals

Terrill's originals are oil on canvas. His wildlife and landscapes are painted both on location and in the studio. Plein aire technique is an essential part of his landscape work which captures the real feeling of light on the subject.


Canvas Reproductions

The canvas reproductions (giclees) are done with archival inks, rated by the manufacturers and independent laboratories at 200 years. Enhanced canvases are over-painted with oil paints, the same as are used on original paintings. All canvases are hand-stretched with the best quality tongue and groove stretchers and then coated with archival varnish for optimum protection.


Limited Edition Prints

Over 50 limited edition prints have been published. Most are sold out editions. Of those remaining, some are closed editions and others are low inventory. All prints offerred are fine art ink on rag paper.
